Laulea

Laule‘a (pronounced lau-lay-ah) is our very own award-winning estate label, grown on the Pele Plantations organic farm in Honaunau. It’s an estate with limited production and an extremely loyal following. Laule‘a is in higher demand than any of our other estate coffees, particularly among long-time, regular customers. A hint of chocolate adds to its smooth, satisfying flavor.

LAULE‘A means happy. That’s how we feel as we tend our coffee plants. We hope you can taste it.

We ship freshly roasted whole beans for optimal flavor and freshness.

Laule‘a is reserved for our Coffee Club members whenever inventory is low. It is available now on our website for a limited time.

TASTING NOTES

“This is a purist’s cup: big, authoritative, powerfully but sweetly acidy, complete. The [Pele] roast rounds the dry fruit tones toward chocolate but leaves the robustly rich acidity intact. 92 points (range from 70 to 100).”

— Coffee Review co-founder Kenneth Davids
