Coffee Origin
Coffee Farm in Kona, Hawai‘i
ABOUT THE ESTATE
The farm is planted in the traditional Japanese “Old Hawaiian Style,” which means there is no organized spacing in between the trees. Rather, the coffee trees follow the contours of the land. The farm sits at a nice elevation of 1500 feet in Holualoa, ensuring the plants get plenty of rain and shade – two of the most important ingredients for creating the best Kona flavor. The third important ingredient is the amount of care the trees receive from the owner, who has been a dedicated organic farmer for the last five decades.
