WE’RE MOVING!
We are very excited about moving to Seattle: for our family, and our family business.
During our move (starting May 16), roasting will be limited and we will have a smaller selection of products available. Once we are fully set up in our new location (around July 6), you can expect the same coffee selection and service you always receive from us.
What Is NOT Changing
Same Coffee
We will continue to buy beans from the same Kona farms, roast them with the same equipment, and ship them directly to you. All of our beans and our roaster – the person and the equipment – are coming with us!
Same Customer Service
Ownership of Pele Plantations is not changing. Our family will continue to run the business from our new location.
Same Pricing
Our moving costs will not be added to our prices in any way. In fact, we will try to negotiate better shipping rates if we can.
What Is Changing - Our Location
Pele Plantations is moving to Seattle!
We are setting up shop in Ballard. That’s where we will be storing our prized Kona beans and roasting all of our orders. We will continue to ship FedEx 2-Day Air every weekday, just as we do now. We will be posting our address and our hours on Google as soon as we are ready to open.
Hawaiʻi Retail: Moving to Jam Pot
We closed our Waimea shop on May 16. However, we have a wonderful neighbor two doors down that is serving up freshly brewed Pele Plantations coffee and stocking our products on their shelf. They are called Jam Pot, and we are so happy that they will be serving our local Waimea customers.
Free Shipping for Hawaiʻi Customers
Most of our Hawai‘i customers have been able to pick up their orders and avoid shipping costs. Now, Hawai‘i locals will be able to order online and receive coffee with no shipping charges, as long as the order is being delivered to a Hawai‘i address.
Seattle Retail
We won’t have a retail store in Seattle, only a roastery. However, we are always happy see you if you’re in town. Visits, roastery tours, and coffee pickups will take place during limited hours or by appointment, so we can make sure we are not busy roasting when you arrive. We will be posting our address and our hours on Google and on our website as soon as we are ready to open.
